A centric splitter divides the material, which is then processed by the auger into a homogeneous mixture. The auger unit can be raised when not in use to increase the feeding capacity. The FLEXMIX belt technology also ensures homogeneous material mixing just before transfer to the paver. The maximum capacity is 1,000 tons per hour. The hydraulically driven augers operate at a speed of 130 rpm with an auger diameter of 320 mm.
The BMF 2500 FLEXMIX unit prevents thermal and physical asphalt demixing and reliably corrects cold spots before the material is paved. Potentially cold material is thus conveyed in portions to the centre, which promotes optimum mixing. Two conical augers with a diameter of 320 mm and a rotation speed of 50 rpm convey the material from the outside to the centre. The hydrostatic drive provides the necessary power to the augers in any operating state. The FLEXMIX system can be controlled conveniently and precisely via the operating console.
